Battery Powered At-Home Tooth Polisher Devices
The market for battery powered electric home dental polishers is stabilizing - with several major brands marketing home tooth polishing devices. In spite of the added competition, the Momi teeth polishing system remains our #1 recommendation:
Or top recommendation remains the Momi Tooth Polishing set. It comes with everything you need: The polisher, replacement rubber polishing cups and pointed cleaning tips, mint-flavored gritty prophy paste and a pair of AAA batteries. It's ready to tackle tooth stains and built-up plaque right out of the box.
Several companies seem to be using the same Chinese / Overseas OEM manufacturer for their production and supply. The Momi dental polisher set, Violife Dazzle polishing kit, and the Polish'D bare-bones DIY tooth polishing tool seem to be variants of the same design.
That may be a good thing as the interchangeable polishing shaft with screw on rubber polishing cups and cones may very well be interchangeable and easy to locate if you need to replace the 'driveshaft' of your battery operated handle. The rubber polishing cones (which are useful for the crack of adjecent teeth, or getting into pockets) and polisher cups which screw on seem to be the same and are generally available as separate replacements.

DenTek Electric Home Tooth Polisher Review
Looking for a way to keep your teeth white, remove plaque and stains for a glistening smile. Here I review DenTek's electric tooth polisher kit for an affordable way to keep your smile white and bright between regular dentist visits - and as a supplement to your daily brushing and flossing routine.
As I review various tooth polishing kits on the market, I note that many share the same motorized, battery operated polisher. This is good because although what's included with the polisher may vary from brand to brand, the prospect of finding replacement polishing heads and extra rubber polisher cups and pointed rubber cleaning tips is more likely - and helps extend the value of your purchase. Unlike the Momi Dental Polisher Kit, sadly a pair of AAA batteries are not included in the DenTek box.
Oddly, battery powered DIY home dental polishers to review are rarely seen at retail. I've scoured the shelves of WalMart, RiteAid, Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy and others oral and dental care sections and these battery powered dental polishing kits just aren't there. So shopping online at Amazon or searching for "tooth polisher" on eBay is the way to go.

Stardust Electric Home Dental Polisher - Tooth Polisher Review
Shopping for a battery-powered electric home tooth polisher? Stardust is a new entry into the DIY at-home dental polishing scene with a complete home dental care kit with tools, polisher, and polishing pastes at an affordable price.
With the exception of 2 x AAA batteries which are sold separately, the Stardust Tooth Polisher is a great starting point, with dental mirror, pick and plaque cleaning tools, the battery-powered polisher itself and 5 cups of mint-flavored tooth polishing paste included. But what sets it apart from some other personal oral care products is the availability of an additional replacement polishing head to insure a longer usable life.
The availability of a replacement tooth polishing head adds tremendous value if the original one wears out. The only other DIY home tooth polisher - the VioLife Dazzle Dental Polisher - offers a similar replacement head option. Stardust also includes 6 spare polishing cups (3 Medium, 3 Firm) and 5 cups of prophy paste.

New DIY Electric Tooth Polisher From DenTek
Shopping for a battery powered electric tooth polisher for affordable, DIY teeth polishing? Although there aren't a lot of home dental polishers available, there's now a decent selection of affordable dental tools for removing plaque, erasing stains, and polishing and whitening your teeth safely at home.
This newest entry into at-home consumer tooth polishing kits costs half of what a professional dental cleaning might cost. While we of course recommend regular dental checkups and office cleanings annually as per the ADA, this battery-operated polisher can help keep all your teeth free of stain buildup, minimize plaque, and help whiten them in-between visits to your dentist.
Note the Dentek Smile Icon Polisher comes with additional polishing cups and packets of whitening GEL. The gel is okay, but not optimal. For more thorough dental cleaning (particularly initial ones) we recommend you order some cups of dental-grade prophy polishing pastes for more effective removal of stains and build-up. Also, AAA batteries aren't included. Since polishing each inner and outer tooth surface can take some time, we highly recommend Lithium AAA Batteries for the longest polishing times possible. So order them along with the polisher or have some on-hand when your home electric dental polisher arrives.

Extended Tip Battery Dental Polisher Review
- This alternate design of the commonly available and cheap tooth polisher does it one better. By extending the neck of polishing cup by an inch and then-some on the oversized motorized head, it's actually possible to reach inside and way back into your mouth. This allows you to FULLY AND PROPERLY remove plaque and tarter, erase coffee and tobacco stains, and buff your teeth to a shine.
A tongue scraper, dental mirror and extra polishing cups and pointed tips are included in the set:
The only readily available source for this extended neck battery operated dental polisher seems to be as a Buy-It-Now item on eBay for around $25 USD -- from a seller in the UK. They offer free shipping of the polishing tool via regular postal mail. Mine arrived in just over a week, so overseas shipping was reasonably fast enough.
